The bar chart demonstrates quantity of people in the UK travelling to work by different means of transport such as rail, bus, drive, car, bicycle, on foot between 2001 to 2011.
Overall, it crearly seen that the most popular transport througout a year was drive. Whereas the least popular transport became car.
Firstly, in both years 2001 and 2011 driving had the highest percentage at 35% and 29%, while rail was in the second place at 19% and 28%. Bus in the UK was 16% in 2001. However it rose to 20% in 2011.
Secondly, in both years 2001 and 2011 some people prefered to walk by foot. In 2001 only 3% of people drove bicycle, while in 2011 rate increased to 6%. Finally, the lowest persentage of transport usage showed car. To be concrete at the beginning car had bigger persentage at 3% then in 2011 at 2%.
