Overall, it is evidence that most of UK employees preferred to went to offices by drive and cars are the least preferable choice by them.
In 2001, nearly 25% of UK residents travelled by the train, while this number is gradually increased by approximately 3% in 2011. However, number of UK people travelling by bus was more than 15% in 2001, although this number was significantly rose 20% in 2011.
Comparatively, drive is the most preferrable modes of transport for Uk citizens, and it is highest proportion among other modes at more than 35% in 2001, while in 2011 it has sharply deceased below 30%. On the other hand, car and bicycle were approximate at just 3% and 4%, which is slightly decease and increase at 2% and 6% respectively. Additionally, nearly 15% UK citizens went to their work by walking was almost 15% in 2001 and same as in 2011.
