The given bar chart gives information about the parcentage of having Internet access classified by urban/suburban and rural households in a European country durng 1999-2004 period.
Overall, both urban/ suburban and rural households share the same trend of increasing in figure over time. Urban/suburban had a greater proportion in accessing to Internet than in rural area.
Firstly, rural figure gradually grew 5-10% a year. While the counterpart of urban/suburban that had Internet access rised with a larger amount, approximately about 10-20% each years, from 10% in 1999 to 55% in 2004. By contrast, there were only lower than 5% people got access in 1999 and totally reached 35/100 people having Internet access in 2004 as the maximum figure of rural area during entire period. Furthermore, the proportions in rural households every years were 10-35% lower than those in urban/suburban area. Especially, two types of households had the greatest disparity data in 2002 with 50% in urban/suburban households but only 15% in remote area.
