To begin with beach holidays, nearly 4.5 million travelers used tried beach holidays in 1990, before becoming just over 5 million and got reached just over 4 million by the next 5 following years. Until 2010, it remained unchanged and increased to 5 million travelers before declined dramatically in 2020. Skiing holidays had around 2.5 million in the beginning of the timeframe, travellers and rose steadily until 2000 and reached just over 3 million travelers and remained stable by 2010 before having a dramatic decrease by 2020 and failing to 1 million.
By contrast, 2 million travelers tried city break holidays and their proportion increased just over 3 million and there was a little fall to just over 3 million by 2020 and it rose sharply until 2020 to reach 5 million travelers.
