This figure rose steadily to a peak of 70% in 2015, before experiencing a moderate decline of approximately 10 percentage points over the following two decades, according to projections. A similar upward pattern can be observed in the oldest age group, which started at around 5% in 1975 and is forecast to climb just under 15% in 2035. In contrast, the youngest group fell from nearly 40% in 1975 to roughly half that figure in 2015, and is expected to continue falling to just over 15% by the end of the period
