The illustration introduces the information about the levels of the production of the main kind of fuel in the UK in the period between 1981 and 2000.
Overall, there are presented 3 main kinds of fuel, such as petroleum, coal and natural gas. The petroleum by the level of energy units, while coal and naturale gas located on the same level, but have a different tendences.
The petroleum has the highest indicators of energy units, it was ingcreasing from the 1981 to 1986, but then have a quite suddenly decriase until 1991, from this period petroleum have a positive tendences and shows steasy grows. Coal has the lower results compared with petroleum, if was on the peak from the 1981 to approximately 1987 year, but then it has a sharp decline to 1990 year, after that the indicators have a gradual growth, however this was followed by another decline.
By contrsast, natural gas is the only fuel with the positiv increase, the active period of growth started from the 1991 year.
