The bar chart compares the percentage of youngsters who consider various actions to be the most effective solution to global warming, according to a research conducted in four European countries.
Overall, lifestyle changes were regarded as the most effective way to combat global warming by young people in all countries. After lifestyle adjustments, in addressing this global issue, environmental issues were preferred as the second- best solution followed by government regulations which received closely similar patterns with it. In contrast, very few respondents selected “none of these” as an effective option.
Among all options lifestyle changes was the most favored option in each country. Portugal has the highest percentage of those who selected this option at certainly 50% , followed by Spain stands at around 37%. In Italy and the Netherlands, slightly fewer respondents chose this solution, but it remained the most preferred in both countries, at approximately in Italy 30% and in Netherlands just at 25% which means twice small than the share of Portugal.
