The graph gives information about the amount of air emissions generated from three fossil fuels of greenhouse gas in the UK from 1009 to 2010.
Overall, the amount of gas has increased. In contrast, the amount of oil and coal has decreased since 1990 and 2010.
The amount of gas generated was more than 200 million tons in 1990. Then the number of emissions rose during the period of 20 years from 1990 to 2010 and reached over 300 million tons in 2010. In contrast, the amount of coal significantly reduced in this period, from over 300 million tons to 190 million tons.
In this period, the amount of oil has fluctuated. Especially from 1990 to 1995, it declined from 260 M tons to 230 M tons, but by 2000, it increased to 250 M tons. However, in the next 10 years, this emission decreased from 250 M tons in 2000 to 190 M tons in 2010.
