The charts below depicts the amount of money the people of Somecountry invested in the stock market during the years 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 in billions.
Overall, it can be seen that the graph gives an upward trend along the years. Both in stocks, and in bonds.
It is obvious that residents of Somecountry invests more money in stocks compared to bonds. In 2001, the amount of money invested in stocks almost doubles the money invested in bonds. This flow continues in the following years but not as significant. As it is shown in 2006, money in stocks is still much higher than the ones invested in bonds. However, the margin is not as dramatic as it is in 2001.
It is illustrated in the graph that both category follows along a rising flow. Although, it is shown that money in stocks has a more dramatic rise for example in 2004 where it spiked. Whereas bonds has a quite stagnant flow along the years without any significant rise.
