The given line graph shows the proportion of university students in distinct four countries, namely Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand from 1961 to 2011.
Overall, we can see that there is the highest proportion of students in Thailand’s universities in the whole graph. Also, it is noticeable that students in Malaysian universities had the lowest proportion of students.
Looking at the information in more detail, in the initial years, Thailand’s universities were at the type with around 24% of students where’s proportion decreased in coming years but showed a drastic increase of the proportion and reached nearly 42%. The second highest destination was Singapore which 15% of students chose and also had lots of ups and downs but ended with 2% less than Thailand’s.
With regards to Malaysia and Philippines which becomes the lowest chosen destination by students. Here, Malaysia has only around 2% but increasing uniformly made it reach 15%. Where Philippines started its journey with around 7% and finally ended with nearly 19%.
