The pie chart depicts the distribution of passenger car production across regions in 2015.
In 2015, passenger automobile production was concentrated in a few main areas, with Greater China, Europe, and the continent of North America taking the lead. Other regions had far lesser proportions.
Chinese had the highest share at 26%, due to the country’s huge production capabilities and developing market. Europe raced closely with 25%, helped by established manufacturers in nations such as Germany, France, and Italy. North America covered a significant amount, owing to the United States’ large market. Japan and Korea also had a major threat, due to their technological innovation and productivity.
The remaining regions maintained considerably lesser amounts. South Asia and South America each provided a little part, demonstrating that their economies are still developing. The Middle East and Africa had the smallest percentage (2%), reflecting an underdeveloped sector because of lack of infrastructure and weaker consumption. In instance, Greater China’s share was thirteen times larger than the Middle East and Africa.
