The line graph shows information about traffic growth with some vehicles namely car, train, bicycle and other public transport in the Netherlands between 1950 and 2000.
In general, what stands out from the graph is that, there was an increase in the number of car in traffic, while train, bicycle and other public transport began at the same point and showed rose together over the given period.
The number of traffic in Netherland by car began at 0% in 1950, after the next year it saw an increase at 20 percent, following years the quantity of traffic with car continue grew to 100 percent and rose significantly to reach at 140% at the end of the period.
On the other hand, the percentage of train, bicycle and other public transport which started at 0% in the initial year. After that, train and bicycle inclined slightly to 10 percent in 1970, and both vehicles grew to 20% and 15% respectively. While only other public transport levelled off at almost 5% and it reached at 10% in 2000.
