The graph shows information about new Facebook users in Cambodia by three kind of areas such as Phnom Penh, Kampot and Siem Reap that started using Facebook between 2004 and 2014. overall Facebook became more popular for people living in Phnom Penh.
In total, new Facebook users from Phnom Penh and Kampot provinces started using Facebook in 2004, with around 500 users. By 2006, the number of Facebook users in Phnom Penh had rocketed around 3,000 which was surpassing the number of users in Kampot. Between 2008 and 2014, the number of Facebook users in Phnom Penh had decreased, on the other side the number of Facebook users in Kampot had grown over 2200 users by 2014.
Compared to the number of new Facebook users in Siem Reap Province the number had reached a peak around 3200 in 2004, which remained the highest point on the graph until 2007. However after this, the number of Facebook users in Siem Reap fluctuated between 2007 to 2010. From 2010 to 2014, the number of users within Siem Reap fell to around 1000. In contrast users from Phnom Penh has steadily constant around 2010 to 2014, Kampot provinces had gradually increased from 2004 to 2014.
