The bar graph illustrates the information on the number of visitors from overseas to Australia in a year. Figures are given for those visiting on pleasure and business.
In general, Japanese visitors reach the highest number and visitors from East Asia travel for pleasure than business. On the contrary, more visitors from western countries travel for business than pleasure.
Particularly, the highest number of visitors come from Japan with 30,000 visiting for tour and 16,000 on business. The Japanese tourists outnumber the businessmen as they do for the Koreans and Chinese. It can also be seen that the number of tourists from Korea and China are 26,000 and 5,000 respectively and the number of businessmen are 6,000 and 1,500 respectively.
Turning to the western countries, business visitors from the USA, Briton and Europe outnumbered their tourists at 60,000to 2,500, 4,500 to 3,000 and 7,000 to 4,500 respectively.
