In 2001, New Brunswick had the highest percentage of international graduates at around 8%, followed by Nova Scotia at approximately 7% and Quebec at about 6%. Manitoba and Newfoundland & Labrador had the same proportion of around 4%, while Ontario had the lowest at 3%.
By 2006, New Brunswick experienced the largest rise to about 12%, with Nova Scotia and British Columbia following closely at around 11%. Quebec had an 8% share, while Manitoba and Newfoundland & Labrador both increased to approximately 7%. Conversely, Alberta had the lowest share at 4% in 2006.
