The bar chart depicts the data in percentage of men and women as academic staff of major universities in myriad courses in the year 2016.
By analyzing the data, it is observed that the male tutors were more in “engineering” and least men taught in the area of “arts”. On contrary to male there were least female instructors in the field of engineering and were seemed on the top list in “education” sector.
To embark, the male teachers were 85% in engineering followed by business and science having equivalent percentage of male professor (62%). Furthermore, law universities had 60% of the male staff. Moreover, the men as mentors in both medicines and arts universities were 49% and 42% respectively. Finally, the least male professor was in education department having only quarter percentage.
On other hand, the highest number of females worked in education by 72%. Second and third was the arts and medicine colleges had had 58% and 50% respectively. By comparing science and business, the science was just 3% ahead than the business (38% and 35%). However, there were only 18% female teaching in engineering.
