The pie charts illustrates the factors behind the admission of two age-group of students, one group aged between 18 to 24 and the other aged 25 and above, to Dorrifod University. The leading factor of choosing that university was the minimal distance of students’ residential areas.
Students, aged between 18 to 24, got admitted because of the course offered in the university was appealing; above one-third of this group voted this option. Almost one-tenth of this group they would find opportunities to study abroad as part of the courses and these. Campus facilities attracted fourteen percent of this group, where reputation of teaching staff and industrial relation cumulatively contributed only six percent.
On the other hand, students, who were 25 and above age, selected this university because of three major factors. They were interested because of the appealing courses offered from the university (24%); courses were related to industy (20%); reputation of teaching staff (12%). The facilities on campus and the opportunity to study abroad were the least preference.
Overall, among the two age group, the youngsters were more interested because of the opportunities of study abroad and facilities where seniors prefered reputation of teachers and relation to the industy.
