The two pie chart illustrate the several reasons of two age groups why they admitted to Dorrifod University.
Overall, the most striking aspect shown in this figure is that the most significant increase is shown in the reason related to industry; similarly, a significant decrease is shown in the reason of facilities on campus between the two age groups. In addition, the reasons “close to home” and “reputation of teaching staff” climb up in the age 25 and over group. Whereas, courses offered and opportunities to study abroad as part of the course have gone down in the over-25 age group.
In detail, the figure for close to home grew from 36% at the first age group to 39% at the last age group. The amount for the reputation of the teaching staff accounted for 12% in the 18-24 age group, which is lifted up in the 25 and over age group and stood at 12%. These two reasons occupy more than half of all other reasons. Between two age groups, there was a significant increase in the reason related to industry, which stood at 20% from 4%.
Moreover, decreases are shown for some reason, such as facilities on campus from 14% in the 18-24 age group to 2% in the over-25 age group. Likewise, courses offered and opportunities to study abroad as part of a course went down from 35% to 24% and 9% to 3%, respectively, in the over-25 student group.
