In brief, while the usage of other appliances (ironing, bread toasting, etc) has the highest percentage in the consumption of energy in the homes in Australia, cooking and standby got the least attention .On the other hand, heating and cooling stood the chance of the highest production while standby barely made a pass in the bottom-most position.
Categorically, while other appliances rocked the top tier with 24% in the usage of household energy, water heating followed closely behind, missing just a percentage. Additionally, heating and cooling had 20% and refrigeration slimly dominated lightening with 12 to 11% respectively, while cooking standby took the least position.
Moving on to other categories, even though heating and cooling didn’t dominate usage in the house, it stood out at 38% in greenhouse gas produced in Australia, while water heating has a total of 25% with other appliances in the house consumed 16% which overturned the production of refrigerator and lightening with just 9% each. Whereas, cooking and standby lagged behind with 4% and 3% each.
