The bar graphs compares proportion of people achieving full car driving licences divided by existence and gender in the years of 1975/76 and 2006.
Overall, the percentages of men having a licence was notably higher than women in all kinds of age and over the three years.
At the ages of 17-20, which is the smallest ages, the percentage of all age groups was relatively low with 38% in 1975/76 and 31% in 2006 for men; whereas, the other group in that ages was 20% in 1975/76 and approximately 36% in 2006. Regarding the ages of 21-29, both groups continued to surge twice compared to the initial points. Notably, the total percentage of men was in its peak in 40-49 with over 83% of men and nearly 80% of women in 2006, while the indicator of men has doubled that of women in 1975/76. The two rates declined gradually to the ages of 70 and beyond, when we can see the lowest point of women with just 2% and men were 26%.
