The graph illustrates the percentage of women employees along with the percentage of old age workers who are aged 50 Or above in the UK workforce between 1970 to 2019.
Overall, it could be seen that from the initial period female employees proportion was above 35% of UK population and it increased by nearly 10% over the period. While, number pf workers aged 50 and above was always below 35%.
In 1970, women workers were 37%, it was gradually increasing till 1990’s and then it remained steady till 2010. In 2010, the female Jobholders was grown by 2-3% and then the graph reached to 47% in 2019.
The members who aged 50 and above are recorded from 1990 to 2019. While, in began only 21% proportion of UK population were working. The graph significantly shows the upward trend and by the 2019, 32% of population were old aged staff members.
