The table compares the percentages of people living in four different types of housing in three areas of Denmark in 2012.
Overall, there are clear differences in housing preferences between the three areas. Detached houses were most common in the central area, while the vast majority of Green Park residents lived in flats or apartments. In contrast, Southberg had a much higher proportion of people living in terraced houses.
In the central area, almost two-fifths of the population (39%) occupied detached houses, compared to 28% in semi-detached and 18% in terraced properties. Only 15% lived in flats or apartments. Green Park showed a very different pattern: 76% of residents lived in flats or apartments, while only small minorities (14%, 5% and 5% respectively) occupied terraced, semi-detached and detached houses.
In Southberg, terraced housing dominated, accounting for 56% of residents, while flats/apartments housed 25%. Detached houses (14%) and semi-detached houses (5%) were much less common.
In summary, each area showed a distinct housing pattern, with flats most popular in Green Park, terraced houses in Southberg and detached houses in the central area.
