The given diagram illustrates how coffee is produced using a technique called the dry method.
Overall, coffee production, which uses the dry method, consists of twelve distinct stages. Commencing with sorting coffee beans and ending with the packaging process and selling them to customers.
To begin with, the coffee beans are sorted by the farmers using a manual method with their hands. After being sorted, the beans are cleaned and dried in the sunlight for around 4 weeks. At this point, the farmers rake and turn them consistently to ensure the beans dry well. After the drying process, they are stored in a silo. After that, these beans are sent to a mill by lorries.
The next step is the hulling phase, and it is done by human workers. Then, the coffee beans are graded before they are bagged. Following this stage, the coffee beans are ready to be sold to large stores. After being bought by them, the coffee beans can be roasted using machinery. Finally, the coffee is ready to be packed and distributed to customers.
