The table illustrates the information regarding the fast food consumption amount in Melbourne for three different years. A comparison have been showed among five major types of fast food in units. From 2005 to 2025 the fast food consumption increased rapidly.
When comparing the different types of fast food consumed the table shows that Hamburger and Fried Chicken was the most popular item in all years. In contrast Salad consumption improved from 5 units to 41 units which seems people became more conscious about their health in the coming year.
On the other hand the other two fast food fried rice and noodles eaten in Melbourne in units always remained steady.
Overall the data indicates a growing trend in fast food consumption in Melbourne with hamburger being the most popular choice among consumers. It is clear that though fast food remains a popular choice for many residents but people in future also became more conscious regarding their health which is proven by the increased amount of salad consumption.
