Overall, all the costs of four various bread increased, albeit to different degrees except for that of wholegrain which began and ended the year at same point.
Regarding the price of wholegrain, the cost of wholegrain started at 0.8 and the figure showed rapid growth by 1.0 in 2002. Thereafter, the cost of wholegrain went down sharply at around 0.7 and finally finished the period unchanged at 0.8 in 2005.
Looking at the upward trends, the costs of brown and white bread saw an significant increase at the whole period. The former grew considerably from 0.6 (2001) to 1.6 (2003) at the beginning and then fluctuated from 2003 to 2005. The latter experienced a constant rise from 0.6 to approximately 1.3 over the period in question. Similarly, the cost of rye bread illustrated a minor increase from 0.6 to 0.7 throughout the given period, staying at the bottom of the graph in the end.
