Overall, apart from wholegrain and rye bread, all other types of bread saw an upward trend. The remaining two types of bread stood stable despite some fluctuations during the time frame.
Looking at the wholegrain and rye bread, it is clear that their initial price was 0.8 and 0.6 in 2001 respectively. Next year whole grain increased dramatically reaching 1.8, also the price of rye bread was more or less 0.7 for the next 4 years. In 2003 the price of wholegrain bread collapsed to 1 before declining further to 0.8 in 2005.
Brown and white bread, both experienced overall rise in prices. Brown bread increased sharply from 0.6 in 2001 to roughly 1.5 in 2002, followed by little rise to 1.6 in 2003. After slight slip in 2004, it recovered to around 1.6 in 2005. Furthermore, white bread saw a more gradual and consistent upward trend. Beginning at about 0.6 in 2001, its price increased steadily every year, reaching about 1.3 by the end of the period.
