Overall, men can be classified as Chainsmokers as the number of smokers was all time higher than the women smokers throughout these years. This number is gradually decreased in the coming years. The popularity of smoking seemed to increase in women.
In terms of men, 600 smokers were there in 1960 which was also the greatest number of smokers ever recorded. This number then slowly declined to around 400 in 1985 and by 2000, this number was approximately 250.
On the other hand, women smokers were about 50 in 1960 and significantly increased to about 350 in 1975 which was also the highest numbers of smokers recorded in the same year. The number began to decrease smoothly and reached around 150 in 2000.
