In 1995, the figures for China were the largest at 80 USD and they increased to 90 USD in 1999. Regarding the expenditures in Vietnam and Thailand, the numbers were relatively close at around 55 and 50 USD respectively. In 1997, there was a notable rise in Thailand, and it reached just below 60 USD becoming equal with Vietnam. However, Thailand faced a significant decrease back to 50 USD, whereas the spendings in Vietnam steadily grew and stood at 60 USD in 1999. In terms of Indonesia, it had the smallest numbers that reflected 30 USD in the beginning which went up steadily to 40 USD by 1999.
Moving on to the details, after 1999, China went through a slight dip to around 85 USD in 2003 before growing considerably to just below 100 USD. Outgoings on cars in Vietnam and Thailand rose constantly until the end of the given period with the former reaching a peak of about 75 USD and the latter slightly hitting over 60 USD. After remaining stable for one year at 40 USD, money spent on cars in Indonesia jumped sharply to around 70 USD making it relatively close to that of Vietnam.
