The line graph illustrates the price of four kinds of breads for 800 grams in Europe over 6 years beginning from 2001. The units were measured in euros.
Looking through the overall perspective, it can be evidently observed that the trend of white bread, black bread and rye bread rose significantly over the period. In contrast, the cost of wholemeal bread showed a downward treand throughout the time.
Going into specification, im 2001 black bread price was 1.8 euros for 800 grams. However, the figure dropped in 2002 reaching a tough of 1.6 euros. Then, in 2003 and 2004 the value increased slightly. Despite that, it deckined gradually in 2006. Meanwhile, it continued to increase in the upcoming years recording its peak value in 2007 which is 1.8 euros. Looking ahead, white bread price was appriximately 0.1 in 2001. Then it rose slightly in 2004 accounting to the exact value recorded in the previous year. Then, the value started to go down continuously in 2006 and 2008. Nonetheless the value started to show a continuous upward trend for the coming years. Likewise, price of rye bread was the lowest in 2001 approximately 0.5.However, the value started fluctuating throughout the period and in 2007 it recorded the identical figure as in 2001.
On the other hand, the price of wholemeal grain was almost 2 euros which was the highest priced bread. However, over time the value started degrading drastically.
