The line graph illustrates three different academic majors at a university that were enrolled by the number of students between 2010 and 2020. Overall, the number of people who enrolled in both the business and arts majors decreased across the period; the reverse was true for those who enrolled in the engineering major.
Focusing on the decreases first, around 150 students enrolled in the business in 2010, considerably more than the arts with 110. This gap remained almost unchanged until the end of the period. After this, the number of people enrolling in the business and the arts continued its downward trajectory, reaching a trough of 100 and 50 people, respectively.
In contrast, the figures for the remaining major registered a significant increase over the years. Starting at just above 160 students, the number of people enrolling in the engineering increased. Additionally, the number of students enrolling in the engineering reached its peak of 300 in 2020 and remained most enrolled major among the three in the final year.
