The graph presents the data on commuters, using various types of transportation to commute worldwide, over a decade. Overall, the percentage of users in different methods has significantly changed over time with the demand for cellular phone service continuously rising; however, the forms of fixed broadband and mobile broadband have been the least favourite since their introduction.
To begin with, cellular phone service ranked second at the initial start, only taking under 10%, before rocketly increase, crossing the landline service in 2002 (at nearly 20%), becoming the top service at the end of the period. Similarly, but to a lesser extent, the percentage of people with the internet was only about 4% in 1998 and gradually increased to approximately 19%, ranked second at the end.
Turning to other categories, fixed broadband and mobile services were not available until 2002; ever since, both have not been widely known among customers, with about 3% and 2% respectively in the last year. Although landline service was the predominant/prevalent method in the first year, accounting for 15% and fluctuated during the period before falling to almost its starting point.
