The given line graph illustrates the proportion of the money spent on different categories ( food, leisure, clothing, transport, energy) in one European country from 1960 to 2000.
Overall, all of the spending seem to decreased over time, except for clothing.
To begin with, food started at nearly 35% in 1960, and leisure was 20% in that period. Both diminished to nearly 19% and 29%, respectively. Moreover, they did not experience any increase over a forty-year period, and stayed at 12% and 15% in 2000.
Everything I mentioned is vital for transport and energy. Firstly, they began with 5% and 10% they decreased slightly in 1970, to 4% and 9%, respectively. Additionally, their declines were more stable compared to other two. On the other hand, the situation was different for the clothing category, in contrast to the others. It started with with only 9% and increased sharply in 1980, to 15% and saw a steady rise until 2000.
