The line graph illustrates the total income of four different genres of café in New York last year.
It is apparent that all kinds of café witnessed fluctuations. In particular, the figures of the Tea Room’s income experienced a negligible drop at the end of the period, while both the rest of other coffee’s business model showed an upward pattern in the changes of income.
At the beginning, the figure for the Tea Room registered the highest category for nearly the entire time. During this period, the income of this café saw a dramatic varation from 160,000s Dollars in January to 140,000s Dollars in October, which reached the peak at approximately 180,000s Dollars in the middle of March. After that, it exhibited a unsteady level when the amount of income declined significantly until the end of the year and plummet to the lowest point, standing at under 60,000s Dollars. By contrast, the Cafe Cool started at the lowest position, only 35,000s Dollars were earned. However, after a noticable fluctuation in nearly the whole months of the years, the income of the Cafe Cool increases remarkably by 85,000s Dollars in December.
Moving on to Internet Express and Wifi Cafe in the first half of the year, the income belonged to both of them stood at low position once nearly 50,000s Dollars and 100,000s Dollars were seen respectively in the first month. The income of these two genres showed a unstable trend before climbing significantly between November and December. It is clear that, at the end of the period, the income of Wifi Cafe and Internet Express ranked in first and second positions, namely 190,000s Dollars and 140,000s Dollars.
