The given linegraph illustrates the percentage of overweight in four different age groups from 1971 to 2005.
Overall, when age group were younger obesity rate was lower as well. At the start of the period, all age groups obesity were less than 20% and same patterns observed which are increased significant margin.
With regard to young adults 18-29 age group was less fluctuated, around 7% in 1971 to 1976 and keep increased and reached to nearly 25% by 2005. Likewise, group of 30 to 44 ages were 15% at the beginning and rose to 30% in 1999, and then slightly dropped to 29% in 2001, after that constantly climb surpassed next age group and it peaked at over 35% by the end. On the other hand, Middle age and senior’s age groups were same level around 15% at the beginning and increased to 36% in 1999. In next 4 years senior’s groups percentage slightly dropped to 35 and middle ages group remaining same level until 2003 and sharply increased peaked at over 40 by the end of the period.
