The line graph illustrates the obesity level in four type of age from 1971 and 2005 in one country. Overall, there was an improvement among all four age types with the reach a peak of between 45-64 ages. It should also be noted that adults (18-29) recorded the lowest rate in obesity level.
Turning to the details, 45-64 and 65-74 age group recorded around 17 % obesity rate in the first year respectively before increasing by 1 percentage in 1976. By 1999 middle adulthood (45-64) obesity level rose significantly from 18% to about 36% and also there was a growth in 65-74 age group. In last 6 years, both figures tendency increased again with the exception of ages (65-74) and also 45-64 ages people peaked at approximately 41% in 2005.
18-29 and 30-44 age groups experienced almost the same tendency in the line graph. Obesity rate in this age groups started at around 8% and 15% respectively between 1971 and 1976. By 1999 both figures levels rose sharply to reach about 22% (18-29) and 30% (30-44). However, adults levelled off at approximately 24% while 6 years and 30-44 age group decreased slightly in 2001 before growing 36% level in 2005.
