The maps given illustrate the improvement in an American city between 1988 and 2010.
Overall, many developments on the both commercial and social facilities such as factories, market areas and church have changed. However, residential houses and gas station were unchanged.
In 1948, the town had many residential houses located in the south-east side and a swimming pool was central part of Placed the town, whereas the industrial areas were situated in the north-east side. Moreover, there was a petrol station on the opposite side of the factories. A local super market in the southeast, and a church near the canal in the southeast. Trees and open spaces surrounded most of the structures, creating a rural atmosphere.
The 2010 map, however, shows the factories and swimming pool was demolished to make way for an airport and commercial buildings, and a local supermarket was devastated to make way for commercial buildings. Furthermore, the church was moved to make way for the development of a sports stadium were located in the south-east part of the town respectively.
