The maps provided illustrate the changes in an American city between 1988 and 2010.
Overall, there have been numerous developments in both commercial and social facilities, including factories, market areas, and churches. However, residential houses and the gas station remained unchanged during this period.
In 1988, the town featured many residential houses located on the southeast side, and a swimming pool was a central part of the town. The industrial areas were situated in the northeast, with a petrol station across from the factories. Additionally, a local supermarket was located in the southeast, along with a church near the canal. Trees and open spaces surrounded most of the structures, creating a rural atmosphere.
The 2010 map, however, reveals that the factories and swimming pool were demolished to make way for an airport and commercial buildings. Furthermore, the local supermarket was also removed to accommodate new commercial developments. The church was relocated to facilitate the construction of a sports stadium, which is now situated in the southeast part of the town.
