The maps illustrate the changes took place in a seaside village from 1995 until now.
Overall, there is a road running through the centre which divides the village into the east and the west. The both sides have undergone several changes, expanding residential areas in the east, the west having new commercial facilities replacing green spaces.
In 1995, the western side of village consisted of housing, shops, a fish market scattered along the coast, and fishing port. The eastern side included green spaces such as a forest park, farmland, and a hotel.
By the present day, housing has expanded, shops have been converted to restaurants, the fish market has been replaced by apartments, and fishing port has been removed from the sea in the west of village. In the west, natural landscapes have been turned into a golf area and a tennis court diminishing the green spaces. Additionally, there have been some new installations such as car park and cafe near the hotel.
