The two maps illustrate how a coastal village changed from 1995 to the present.
Overall, the area has undergone a significant transformation with the enlargement of residential zones, the renovation and construction of more public amenities, accommodating more residents and recreational activities for visitors. Additionally, certain features, such as a hotel and the sea, have remained largely untouched.
In terms of accommodation, there have been more houses constructed along two sides of the road heading to the north west. In addition, a row of houses and a new access to it have been built next to the original housing complex on the left side of the above road. A fish market formerly located along the beachfront has also been completely replaced by apartments now.
Turning to sports areas and public amenities, apart from the hotel which has remained its original position on the right side of the village, other services have experienced notable changes. In the northeastern corner, there was an area comprising farmland and a forest park, which has been later transformed into a sports complex including golf courses and tennis courts. A car park has been constructed right next to the mentioned hotel and across the road from it has been the appearance of a new cafe. Restaurants have replaced formerly shops along the above side of the horizontal road and the fishing port has been abolished on the coastline.
