The map illustrates the proposed layout of a newly planned town.
Overall, the town is clearly bisected into two broadly symmetrical halves by a central road axis, with housing constituting the predominant land use across both sections. Confined to the periphery is industry, which occupies the northern extreme of the western half and the southern corner of the eastern half. What is equally noteworthy is the concentration of essential public facilities, including a bus stand, parking areas, and recreational spaces, near the town centre.
Regarding the western half, what dominates the space is residential housing, with multiple housing plots (H) dispersed throughout, from the northern boundary down to the southern edge. Separated clearly from these residential clusters is an industrial zone, which occupies the northern tip of the section and which appears to serve as a buffer between the residential interior and the outer road network. Connecting the various housing clusters is a network of internal roads (R), while a ring road (RR) encircles the inner residential zone, facilitating smooth internal movement. Providing additional amenities for western residents are a small parking facility (P) and a recreational area, both situated in the central-western portion of the half.
Turning to the eastern half, mirroring the western section in terms of housing prevalence is a layout characterised by numerous residential plots (H) distributed across the area. It is, however, the concentration of public amenities at the centre that most distinguishes the eastern half from its western counterpart, a bus stand (B) and a parking zone (P) co-located here, forming a civic hub that the western half lacks. Two recreational areas, which are interspersed among the residential zones. What sets the eastern half apart in terms of industrial placement is its relegation of industry to the southern corner, in contrast to the north-western positioning seen in the western half, while ring roads (RR) continue to ensure comprehensive circular connectivity throughout.
