The two maps indicate the main changes in the library’s infrastructure over a 20-year interval.
Overall, some rooms became smaller but others got larger, the main part of the building got more space, and some rooms were changed into smaller sizes.
On the left side of the library, there used to be a reading room with newspapers and magazines, but it was replaced with a computer room, near to which there is a new room which includes all reference books rather than the previous adult fiction books which were bigger. At the left corner, they created a children’s fiction books room with some activity events such as storytelling on two comfortable sofas.
The centre, which connected both sides, was completely cleaned from its tables and chairs so that people could go to the café on the right side, which used to be an enquiry room. Near to it, there is a room with different activities, like self-service machines for people while they are at the adult fiction books room, which is now connected to a lecture room that was a children’s room with the same size.
