The given maps illustrate data about the development of Central Library between 2006 and 2026. Overall, it is evident that there were more changes and replacement buildings.
In 2006, in the middle of the center, there were tables and chairs. In the north-east side there were children’s books next to adult non-fiction books. In the eastern south side there was enquiry desk. Near to the entrance, on the left side, there was a reading room such as newspapers and magazines. In the west of the map there was adult fiction rooms. Finally, CDs, videos and computer games were located on the north-west side of the layout.
In the present day, there were major changes. In the middle of the center, tables and chairs were eliminated and made a way for people. In the north-east side, children’s books were replaced by a lecture room and that was moved to the west side. More furniture was also added to the north side and storytelling built there. In the west side there were all reference books and opposite side had adult fiction rooms, information desk and furnished with self-service machines. On the entrance right side has café between computer room.
In conclusion, there were a lot of changes and more recreational places were added and eliminated.
