The two maps illustrate the changes that have taken place in the city of Banville between the year 2005 and the present day.
Overall, it is clear that the city has undergone a completely transformation, with the addition of new commercial and residential building and the improvements of several public facilities.
One noticeable difference in the south-west is the replacement of the wooded area with an airport. Similarly, the forest in the upper-left corner of the map has been cut down to make way for a series of apartment blocks. Meanwhile, the small single-family homes in the west have been replaced by two large skyscapers.
In addition, the road running through the centre of Beanville, once used by vehicles, has been converted into a path for walkers. The train station in the north has been demolished, while a football stadium has been built in the south. Finally, the factory and the church were removed in order to construct a mall and a pub respectively.
