The two maps indicate the changes in Village Park over 10 years ago and now. Overall, the park has changed significantly over the past 10 years, with more facilities being equipped in this area.
The entrance and football pitch have not changed their positions. However, the football pitch has changed from a square to a rectangle. Moreover, the park now has a cycle path surrounding it. In addition, in front of the football area, the tennis courts have widened, from 2 to 4 courts. There is also the addition of toilets next to the football pitch, and the children’s play area, at the top right corner of the park, is separated into two parts: a children’s play area and a children’s soft play area. Moreover, the car parking area has been enlarged to accommodate more cars.
Besides that, a picnic area has been introduced in the bottom left corner, and the circular pond has been replaced by a horizontal boating lake. Furthermore, the wood area was cut down, and a new cafe was erected.
