The map illustrates the transformation of the village park, the changes have been made during a decade.
It is clear that a number of modifications have been made to the park. These include,expending tennis courts, renovating buildings, installing new entertainment areas and so forth.
Looking at the map in more detail, we can see that, the children’s play area have been separated and resized to make way for another site, namely children’s soft-play area, while toilets also have been made close to this site. 10 years ago, there were 2 courtes for tennis and car park also contains 20 cars, these sites have been expanded in size to build 2 more courts for tennis and 30 cars extra for the car park area respectively. It is of note that football pitch in the centre of the park is minimised in size throughout the period given.
The map also show that, the pond, which was situated in the southeast corner, replaced with boating lake, while woods that were surrounding the park, maximum trees cut off and constructed a cafe in the middle of the plants. It is also noticeable that a cycle path also being facilitated in the age of the village park,although the entrance remained in the same position.
