The given maps compare the layout of a bookstore between 2000 and now.
Overall, the bookstore underwent significant changes with new bookshelves being placed, and almost all of it being rearranged in locations.
In 2000, the entrance leading to the bookstore was located in the west, with a small service desk to its right corner, and a huge fiction’s bookshelves to its left. Opposite the entrance was travel bookshelve, and to the right of it was displayed new books. In the center of the bookstore was three parallel bookshelves with different subject: Art, Hobbies and Cookery. Next to these parallel bookshelve was non-fiction books being stored.
Now, the most notable change is the appearance of a new cafe and an reading area filled with tables. The fiction book’s area is reduced in size, and books of art, hobbies, cookery and fiction is lined up in the North. At the top-right corner, fiction bookshelve is replaced with non-fiction, and the old non-fiction book’s area is replaced with a new cafe. Three new tables and chairs are situated in the center of the bookstore.
