The maps illustrate the organization of a bookshop in 2000 and now. Overall, the major changes circle around the reorganization of some bookcases and the setup of a reading zone and a coffee bar for the bookshop’s better development.
The volume of fiction books now was reduced to the east of the shelf, providing space for book copies on the topics of art, recreational issues, and cooking-related matters whose shelves were relocated to the original fiction one. This change showcased a diversity of topics that could satisfy with the demand for exploring new ideas and concepts. Due to the relocation of 3 shelves next to the travelling books’ shelf, the space now was filled with tables that offer everyone an on-site reading zone.
Imaginative stories’ shelf on the eastern wink were now replaced by non-fiction stories’one which originally stood in the central south, the increase volume of these books showed a rise in the readers’ interest in this topic. In the place of the non-fiction books’case, a new small coffee shop was found which can be served as an additional source of income for the library.
However, there was still something that stayed unchanged like travelling-related and new book copies’ shelf, as well as the service desk.
