The provided maps illustrate the layout of a library in 2000 and the changes that have been made to it in the present day.

Overall, the library has undergone several developments, mainly focusing on adding seating areas and a cafe. In 2000, the top of the room was dominated by a large fiction section and a travel section. There were also smaller sections for art, hobbies, and cookery in the center. In the present, the fiction section has been moved to the top right corner, and the art, hobbies, and cookery sections have been moved to the top wall.

The middle of the library has changed significantly. In 2000, it was mostly open space, but now three tables have been added for people to sit at. Additionally, the large non-fiction area that used to be at the bottom center has been replaced by a cafe. The non-fiction books are now located on the right side where fiction used to be.

The service desk and the new book section in the bottom left corner have remained in the same position. However, the entrance area looks slightly different due to the new furniture and sections around it.
