On the given maps we have comparison of Central parks from year 1990 and 30 years later.
Overall, some objects, like flower garden and children’s playground, were reduced in size, while some trading and entertainment objects were built from scratch or expanded.
First of all, one can clearly see that entrance to the park initially was on the southern side of the park, and there was also a telephone booth near it. 30 years later entrance was moved to the western side, near the Koi pond, while telephone booth was demolished altogether. It should be pointed out, that there were two shops near the entrance in 1990, but only one of them remained functioning in 2020. Also, instead of the entrance there was a café on it’s place. Among other objects that weren’t there in 1990 there are stage for programs and a museum in north-west. The former was erected there due to flower garden’s reduction in size, while the latter occupies the area of a toilet, which was moved to southeast, east from the café. Children’s playground just south from Krishna temple also shrank in size. That temple also stayed untouched by all the change, and so did Buddha’s statue at the center of the park.
