The two maps show the vital changes that have taken place in Central Park over a period of 30 years. Overall, it is clear that the park has become much more entertaining, additionally having a new stage, museum and cafe.
In 1990, the flower garden was located in the north of the park, taking up a massive space. Near the garden, there was a Krishna temple on the northwest side of the park and a small toilet situated in the top right hand corner. In front of the temple was the children’s play area. Moving to the south, the entrance lay between the telephone booth on the left and a couple of shops on the right, then towards the east was a koi pond. A Buddha statue was placed at the center of the park.
Next, in 2020, the flower garden area became smaller because the stage for programs was built on the same side. The toilet area had been changed into a museum of local history. Furthermore, the entrance was moved to the east side, just above the koi pond. Where a previous entrance was changed into a cafe area and a shop. Whereas, the Krishna temple play area became the same, but the public toilet relocated to the west side.
